This is a micro HO scale layout that represents a rail repair facility. There is a two road repair shop with apron and an interchange road.
These roads are connected by a sector plate that is hidden by an overhead road bridge. Overall dimensions are 4'4" x 9.5" (132cm x 24cm). The scenic area is roughly 50% of the layout area, with the secor table being hidden behind a facia board. Rear access to the inside of the workshop can be gained by a slinding wall which allows removal and difficult placin of rollingstock inside the shed. Being a rollingstock repair facility allows any type of rollingstock to be displayed. Operation is DC with simple isolation switches for each road. The backdrop was collated using photos of industrial areas around my local rail corridor.
| No work going on today so just moving some components around with the forklift. The fitters assistant is enjoying the sunlight in the quiet time. |
