Over the ditch to repair the SNCF et al.

Following on from the last post, we've now jumped the ditch and are somewhere in France.
Gran Eng has obviously picked up a contract to maintain some of the SNCF (Society Nationale Chemin de Fer) aka French Railways equipment. It looks like they have also picked some "Wagon Lits" and other EU work.

This is part of the fun of model railways. I like the "IBISI RAIL" logic. (I built it so I run anything I like)

The midday sun cast a shadow from the overpass the crews break for lunch.

The SNCF BB 67000 will shunt the Italian electric loco around the shops due to lack of overhead.

These two will have to wait their turn.

The minor work to the baggage van is nearly complete while other stock is being positioned.

The shops shunter (out of view) is re-arranging the stock.

These two cars will be transferred this afternoon to be utilised on the overnight  express to the French Riviera.

With the work complete BB 67001 will soon be earning its keep again.
